It's always been about the words for me. I'm kind of obsessed with words to be honest. It's one of the reasons I love TV. You can run to the kitchen to get a glass of water and one person's line (or the occasional explosion or both) can draw you right back in.  

But I didn't realize that the point and shoot camera I always carried with me could pair up the words that I wrote until senior year, last semester. 

My two lovely roommates and a mentor pushed me to film school. I indulged and learned and learned there was more to learn. 

I write TV pilots mostly now. It's a world I want to create and one where I want to collaborate with other creators on. Can't wait! 

For a few years, I reviewed movie and TV shows and sent them out to friends. My favorite question to receive is "Kei, what should I watch"? It launches an entire conversation about what mood my friend is in, what they've loved watching, and what's new (or new to them). 

However, building community has taken a whole new meaning while podcasting. The sharing of ideas about a favorite show with others  has reached heights I wouldn't have ever imagined. I'm very thankful for the people I've met through this medium.

I am a writer. First through poetry, then spoken word, then through features & TV pilots and the occasional review.

A city girl with Caribbean and Asian roots raised in New York and the entire Tri-State. I have lived in the Southeast, the South, and now  reside in Los Angeles.

I love people, travel, interior design and the list goes on.
